So says an astronomer from Russia.  He tracks the activity of the sun and says the current burst of heat it is putting out will end shortly:

A Russian astronomer has predicted that Earth will experience a "mini Ice Age" in the middle of this century, caused by low solar activity.

Khabibullo Abdusamatov of the Pulkovo Astronomic Observatory in St. Petersburg said Monday that temperatures will begin falling six or seven years from now, when global warming caused by increased solar activity in the 20th century reaches its peak, RIA Novosti reported.

Still time to get some warm undies and jackets.  Or shorts and a lot of sunscreen.  Take your pick.

Maybe we should be trying to increase ‘Greenhouse Emissions’ as much as possible… or the reverse.  The problem here is that scientists don’t get grants for studies by claiming that they don’t know, or that they still can’t answer basic questions after concluding a study.  Also like the rest of the Academies the Sciences have become politicized and polarized.  These days Science=Politics, and you can’t trust either.  And they wonder why they can’t get anyone to do anything about ‘Global Warming’.
